The WASH Officer supports the development, preparation, management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the WASH programme, specifically focusing on the WASH in Institutions and Vulnerable Communities and overseeing the humanitarian WASH operations at the Berm (Rukban).
The Chief of Health is responsible for managing and leading all stages of health programmes/projects (e.g gender, maternal, neonatal, child survival, emergency preparedness) from strategic planning and formulation to delivery of results. S/he leads and manages the health team including establishing plans of action to achieve concrete and sustainable results according to plans, allocation, results based-management approaches and methodology (RBM), as well as UNICEF’s Strategic Plans, standards of performance, and accountability framework.
Consultant will lead the production of Climate and Environmental Strategy for the UNICEF Sri Lanka Country Office (CO) and provide direction and support to implement its recommendations.
Will be responsible for collecting, compiling and reviewing key resources (web-based), gathering in-country information, and undertaking a key-stakeholder analysis. In addition, the incumbent will work closely with CO management and technical staff in relevant sections within the CO to identify and develop programming options and recommendations for the successful integration of climate, energy and environment (CEE) issues in the country programme cycle.
As a Strategic Business Partner, the Operations Manager will be accountable for operations functions, facilitate change, provide risk informed, solution-focused analysis, advice and services and contribute to programme and management decisions for delivering results for children in specific operational contexts.
The MHPSS in CPHA and EQUIP Help Desk Consultant will support the development, roll out and uptake of the EQUIP competency assessment tools, existing and newly developed tools, material and manuals.
The consultant will provide training and support to build the capacity of development and humanitarian actors from non-governmental organizations (NGOs), community-based organizations (CBOs), academic institutions, governments, among other implementing partners in using the EQUIP platform, assessment tools and entire workforce package across different sectors and areas of work to strengthen the cross-sectoral and MHPSS response. The consultant will also support the field testing and further development of new EQUIP operational competency assessment tools.
