The Construction Specialist is responsible for providing technical guidance, operational support and coordination of construction activities throughout all stages of construction projects. The management of construction projects includes planning, designing, contracting, as well as overseeing and monitoring of construction works and public infrastructure projects on site. These projects include, but are not limited to, water supply systems, sanitation facilities, solar power installations, public healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and Early Childhood Development Centers.

Pour pallier cette situation, l’UNICEF vise à accompagner le ministère des Affaires sociales, Actions Humanitaires et Solidarité Nationale de la RDC à réaliser un diagnostic organisationnel genre afin d'examiner comment la dimension genre est prise en compte d'une part dans sa culture organisationnelle et sa structure institutionnelle, y compris dans le système de suivi, d'évaluation et de budgétisation, et d'autre part dans les politiques, programmes et leurs outils de mise en œuvre.

The Specialist provides technical guidance and management support throughout the programming processes to facilitate the administration and achievement of results on education programmes/projects to improve learning outcomes and equitable and inclusive education, especially for children who are marginalized, disadvantaged and excluded in society.
