UNICEF Pacific is in search of a dedicated and proactive international Consultant. The consultant will be seconded to the Fiji MHMS and deployed to the government premises (TBC). S/he will work under supervision of UNICEF Health and Nutrition Specialist and MHMS focal person on EMTCT, in close coordination with all other relevant MHMS officials and the UNICEF Maternal and Child Health Specialist, on a day-to-day basis. The Supply and Logistics Associate under the supervision of the Operations Officer, performs highly skilled work on UNICEF supply chains, and manages the more complex cases and client requests, which frequently requires the evaluation of difficult situations and adaptation of procedures and processes to resolve such cases. This is the senior GS level for specialized supply chain work and requires advanced specialized knowledge acquired through formal training and experience.
