A challenging and exciting opportunity has arisen within UNICEF Mozambique for a passionate and committed WASH Officer, NO2 level position based in Pemba, Mozambique.
Reporting to the WASH Specialist (P3), the WASH Officer (NO-2) supports the development, preparation, management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the WASH programme within the country programme, with a strong focus on Sanitation. The Officer provides technical guidance throughout the programming processes to facilitate the administration and achievement of the WASH-related output results, particularly for Sanitation & Hygiene, in the country programme.
As part of the system-strengthening approach, the health section of the UNICEF Regional Office for Eastern and Southern Africa (ESARO) intends to help countries extend immunization services to regularly reach under-immunized and zero-dose children through technical assistance to countries to adapt existing or introduce new, digital health interventions to collect, visualize and use health and immunization data for better decision making and planning. The Regional Digital Health Consultant will facilitate UNICEF’s Regional Office (ESARO) to identify and prioritize digital health investment opportunities at regional and national level, in collaboration with MOH and partners, and in liaison with HQ (DICE and Health PG).
UNICEF Uzbekistan is looking for sign language interpreters proficient in Uzbek and Russian. Proficiency in Karakalpak and English is an asset but not requirement. The purpose is to support UNICEF programmes to ensure full contextual understanding during meetings/discussions/focus group discussions, interviews amongst OPD, parents and children and youth disabilities, including their representatives with hearing impairments.
