The Public Partnerships Division (PPD) works to strengthen UNICEF’s position as a partner of choice for children’s right among governments and public actors around the world. The intern will acquire direct practical experience in PPD Tokyo’s work and the United Nations system by supporting the office’s quality assurance, analysis/research, and administrative tasks related to resource mobilisation with the Government of Japan activities under the general guidance of the supervisors (Public Partnership Specialist as direct supervisor under the overall guidance by Senior Advisor).
India Country office is looking for an experienced and dynamic Programme Specialist responsible for providing high quality support to the Representative to provide coordinated management and oversight of the India Country Office (ICO) composed of a main office based in New Delhi and 13 large-size Field Offices as well as outposts.
The Finance Assistant, at the G-5 level, is based in UNICEF Uruguay Country
Office (UCO) and reports to the Finance Officer who is at the NOA level.
The efficiency and efficacy of the Finance Assistant directly impacts on the optimum, appropriate and effective use of resources and efficient financial recording, accounting and reporting, which in turn facilitates management oversight, decision making and quality control
The consultant is expected to develop the capacity and provide technical guidance to UNICEF staff and relevant national and implementing partners in aspects related to disability inclusion, disability-sensitive programming, and participation of children with disabilities throughout the programming processes. This will also include support towards sub-national level support for сhild protection programs and partners operating in field office areas.
Under the general supervision of the Partnership Specialist, you will develop, manage, and evaluate non-financial partnerships with the corporate community in support of UNICEF’s mission and objectives in the country. You will also pilot innovative solutions for on-the-ground programme delivery, set the child rights agenda in policy and advocacy development, and enhance the organization’s credibility and brand as a technical expert in the area of child rights and responsible business.
The position is also expected to provide technical input in line with UNICEF’s strategic framework on CSR and manage programmatic alliances with national CSR-related agencies, including business industry champions and the Companies Commission of Guinea
