UNICEF Belize Country Office is seeking an experienced Education Consultant to provide technical and operational support to the implementation of its education programme, with a particular focus on the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) Systems Capacity Grant.
The consultant will support programme planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring and reporting processes. S/he will work closely with UNICEF staff and partners—including government counterparts, NGOs and UN agencies—to ensure effective delivery of results, support capacity building, and contribute to key initiatives such as curriculum reform, the Safe School Initiative, and GIGA.
Key deliverables include:
An inception report and draft workplan;
A partnership engagement framework and education coalition action plan;
A resource mobilization strategy;
Communication materials to support education advocacy;
Strengthened monitoring and reporting tools and frameworks;
Monthly progress reports and a final comprehensive report with recommendations.
This is a national consultancy, office-based in Belize, with an expected duration of 11 months (July 2025 to June 2026).
We are looking for a candidate with a master’s degree in education, social sciences, public policy, or a related field, and demonstrated experience in education programme management, stakeholder engagement, and resource mobilization. Fluency in English and strong writing skills are essential.
