Under the supervision of the Contracts Manager (P4), the Contracts Associate (GS6) is responsible for assistance and support to the Contracting Unit within Supply Section, ensuring full compliance of procurement activities for Institutional Contractors within the applicable UNICEF rules, regulations, policies and strategies, in the management of contracting of services requirements with access to VISION. The contracts Associate (GS6) provides effective services to the program/requisitioning sections, ensuring accurate and timely processing of purchase requisitions and requests up to the completion and closure of the contract/order, with the overall goal of meeting the needs and requirements of the customers.
The Partnership Specialist position’s purpose is to deepen collaboration with key stakeholders and provide an interface
for environmental scanning, knowledge exchange, resource mobilization, and policy influence within the scope of
assignment. S/He may also serve as focal point and resource for colleagues on specific thematic areas of strategic
relevance for partnership development. The key result is to ensure greater visibility for UNICEF and influence in support
of its mission and humanitarian action for children in the State of Palestine.
The purpose of this assignment is to support UNICEF’s Education in Emergencies (EiE) team in knowledge management, reporting, programme monitoring and evaluation, grant management, data management, communication/advocacy, and resource mobilization to reinforce UNICEF’s commitment to ensuring uninterrupted education for children affected by humanitarian crises.
The Internal Auditor (Professional Practices) supports the Internal Audit Manager and Deputy Director in upholding high standards of audit performance and management. The role focuses on ensuring the efficient operation of the audit function through technical, administrative, and quality assurance support. Key responsibilities include maintaining and supporting the TeamMate+ audit application, managing vendor relations, overseeing audit knowledge systems, and coordinating outsourced talent.The position also involves quality assessments of audit engagements, ensuring compliance with IIA Standards, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. Additionally, the incumbent supports reporting processes, including public disclosures, committee updates, and executive board reports. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, along with expertise in Microsoft Office and audit tools, are essential.
