The GBV Officer will be responsible for providing technical support to UNICEF GBV and Child Protection partners particularly women-led organisations on GBV case management, psychosocial support (PSS), safe identification and referral of vulnerable children, and strengthening referral pathways .
The exercise contributes to ensuring that Kazakhstan's investments in AI support not only economic growth and technological advancement, but also the realization of child rights, improved opportunities for young people, stronger social outcomes, and sustainable benefits for future generations. It also generates lessons that may inform AI governance and child-centered digital transformation efforts across Central Asia and the broader ECARO region.
The purpose of this consultancy is to provide technical support to the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in strengthening and operationalizing a coordinated, standardized, and resilient child protection system. Building on existing legislative frameworks and UNICEF investments in CPCRMS, the assignment will support consolidation of tools, SOPs, and capacity building under the Child Protection Commission. It will strengthen inter agency coordination and improve case management and referral mechanisms across districts in a context of heightened vulnerability due to disasters, displacement, and insecurity. The consultancy will also support the development and operationalization of cross-border Family Tracing and Reunification (FTR) SOPs in line with CPiE standards.
