Join UNICEF Malawi as Innovation Specialist, to lead and mainstream innovation and digital technology-enabled programming across the country programme. The Health/CSD/Nutrition Specialist/Manager or Chief for supervision. You will provide professional technical, operational, and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for the Health Programme within the Country Programme. This includes support across the entire programme cycle, from development planning through to the delivery of results.
The Health Specialist will provide technical support to strengthen immunization programs, oversee high-quality SIAs and outbreak responses for vaccine-preventable diseases, and develop monitoring frameworks to measure impact, all while contributing to health systems strengthening and emergency preparedness to ensure equitable, sustainable coverage for children. They will also document best practices and challenges, collaborate with partners, and support post-campaign surveys to improve vaccination equity and effectiveness in line with UNICEF’s strategic goals.C
