The Programme Specialist (Field Operations) will assist the Chief Field Operations and Emergency (CFOE) in overseeing and supporting UNICEF’s field operations in Sudan. The incumbent will contribute to the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of program activities at the field level, as well as emergency preparedness and response. This will involve close coordination with country office program sections, operations and field offices to ensure the survival, wellbeing of children, mothers, and affected communities, in accordance with the obligations of the Core Commitments for Children (CCCs) in humanitarian action.
Provide coordination and liaison support at the field implementation level of the different service providers contracted (contractors and site engineers) by UNICEF and the UNOPS/NCRP team at the district level, monitoring the WASH construction works carried out by the contractors and consultants contracted by UNICEF in the districts of Metuge, Chiure, Ancuabe, Montepuez, Namuno, Balama, Muidumbe, Mocimboa da Praia and Palma or other districts in the Province of Cabo Delgado.
The UNICEF Regional Office for South Asia (ROSA) seeks support of an experienced Knowledge Management consultant. The consultant will provide support to the eight countries within South Asia Region in developing knowledge products and implement a range of activities to widen access to UNICEF's and partners' knowledge resources. This is a home-based assignment for 60 days over a period of 10 months. This consultancy assignment is open to both Nepalese national and international candidates.
