UNICEF Cameroon Office is looking for interns to support the Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Unit on many activities. Without being exhaustive, these include : provide presential and remote support to the staff solicitations, assist staff in making ticketed queries in Service Gateway, assist in the transmission of ICT invoices, ensure the installations, the starts, and recordings of the teleconferences, ensure the installation and security of audio and video call equipment’s.
The DRC has been certified free of wild poliovirus since 2015. However, the country has been facing outbreaks of circulating variant poliovirus (cVDPV1 and 2) since 2017. Today, DRC is still the country in the African region with most at risk of polio and the priority country in the efforts of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI). Thus, the Social and Behavior Change play a crucial role in improving child immunization in general and for polio particularly, by fostering understanding of childhood diseases, creating demand for services and acceptance of the vaccines.
