The Regional Chief of Supply advise and provide guidance, oversight and direction to the regional office and all offices within WCAR on supply chain management, including procurement services, through direct support, capacity building, development of the supply community and strategic promotion of supply-programme integration in support of the country offices’ programme management to achieve results for children.
Under the overall guidance of the Deputy Representative, the DRR-CC Programme Specialist will be responsible for the Outcome 4: Climate Engagement and Resilience and provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance to UNICEF Office for the Eastern Caribbean’s programmes ( education, social policy & social protection and child protection) to improve and enhance the office’s climate change, resilience, and environment priorities and promote adolescent and youth participation in climate action.
Under the guidance and general supervision of the Deputy Representative, the Specialist supports the development development and preparation of the Education (or a sector of) programmes and is responsible for managing, implementing, monitoring, evaluating and reporting the progress of education programmes/projects within the country programme. The Specialist provides technical guidance and management support throughout the programming processes to facilitate the administration and achievement of results on education programmes/projects to improve learning outcomes and equitable and inclusive education, especially for children who are marginalized, disadvantaged and excluded in society.
