The incumbent will be responsible for leading the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of urban WASH projects to ensure effective delivery of services and sustainable outcomes.
Under the supervision of the Chief of WASH, the candidate on this post will provide technical, managerial and operational support in the design, planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting/documentation of the programme with a focus on the Urban WASH, climate resilience and ESS portfolio in the section.
The Health Officer reports to the Health Specialist (Vaccine Management) for supervision. The Health Officer provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for the Health Programme within the Country Programme, with specific focus on immunization, effective vaccine management and logistics, from development planning to delivery of results, by preparing, executing, managing, and implementing a variety of technical and administrative programme tasks to facilitate programme development, implementation, programme progress monitoring, and evaluating and reporting of results.
You will report to the field Area Head for guidance and general supervision. You will support the development and preparation of the health programme and is responsible for managing, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, and reporting the programme progress of a sector of the health programme (e.g. gender, maternal, neonatal, child survival/development) within the country programme. You will provide technical guidance and management support throughout the programming processes to facilitate the administration and achievement of concrete and sustainable results according to plans, allocation, results based-management approaches and methodology (RBM), organizational Strategic Plans and goals, standards of performance, and accountability framework.
