Afghanistan country office is seeking an experienced Programme Budget Officer responsible for providing support in the preparation, monitoring, and control of the budget, involving several different sources of funds and programmes and monitors and allocates incoming funds, manage donor (PBA) Programme Budget Allotment files and make allocations to the appropriate programmes.
India Country office is looking for a highly experienced and dynamic Chief of Child Protection, reporting to the Deputy Representative. The role focuses on providing Strategic leadership that directly enhances UNICEF’s ability to create a protective environment for children, driving sustainable results that promote their survival, development, and well-being while strengthening UNICEF’s credibility and impact. The position requires strong, empathetic, inspirational leadership and the ability to balance upholding the rights of vulnerable groups with working with lawmakers and law enforcement personnel.

Working under the supervision of the Regional Nutrition Specialist and in close collaboration with the Food Systems Specialist and communications as relevant, the consultant will develop a regional thematic report on the most up-to-date information on childhood overweight, review the progress made in relation to policies and strategies for its prevention of childhood overweight, and highlighting illustrative examples of UNICEF’s work in this area.
