UNICEF Ethiopia is looking for interested and qualified Construction Specialist who will be responsible for the coordination of the construction activities for Mekelle, Afar and Amhara regions. The incumbent collaborates closely with UNICEF Programme/ Operations in defining construction interventions to meet programmatic needs and achieve results for children and provides technical and advisory support to Government and partners on construction project management
The UNICEF Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia (ECARO) seeks to establish a roster of experts in Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Child Protection dedicated to upholding and advancing children’s rights through specialized child protection interventions for deployments throughout the Region. Becoming a child protection consultant on the UNICEF roster is based on a standard one-off application that may potentially open the door to multiple assignments. Successful applicants will be eligible for direct recruitment by the Regional Office or any of the Country Offices or Refugee Response Offices in the region for a period of up to three years, with the possibility of renewing the roster, to update the status of persons previously on the roster as well as opening the roster for new candidates.
The consultant will be responsible for writing the 2024 Global Annual Results Report for Goal Area 3 (Child Protection). The report will need to respond to the guidelines and timeframe established by UNICEF’s Programme Group for this purpose.
The personal attendant will work closely with, and directly under the supervision of Social Protection Officer for the delivery of outputs of the work plan. In particular, the consultant will support UNICEF’s work on accessibility in the built environment, accessible information and communication, inclusive education and inclusive cash transfer programmes.
