UNICEF’s Office of Innovation seeks an experienced consultant to support ongoing efforts
to scale UPSHIFT, a global skills building programme through learning delivery models
leveraging digital learning platforms as well as Artificial Intelligence(AI). Specifically the
candidate will develop a digital strategy and AI strategy for UPSHIFT.
The successful candidate will be a part of the Portfolio, Culture, and Scale team based in
Stockholm and will work under the direct supervision of the UPSHIFT global lead. The
consultant will work remotely and is expected to be available along CET time zone during
the active engagement of the assignment.
Under the supervision of the Chief Field Office, the Operations Manager in the field office is a Strategic Business Partner, who will be accountable for operations functions, facilitate change, provide risk informed, solution-focused analysis, advice and services and contribute to programme and management decisions for delivering results for children in specific operational contexts.
The Integrated Food Security Phase Classification Nutrition Consultant will contribute to the implementation of the above-mentioned road map. This will include providing technical support to and quality assurance of IPC AMN analyses, guidance to country level partners on nutrition data collection and analyses as inputs to IPC exercises, and support to normative work among others.
The Office is seeking a Nutrition Officer (NOB) TA, at the L2 level on Temporary Assignment, to support the development and preparation of the SBC Strategy and Costed Plan aimed to contribute to enhancing dietary diversity, preventing common childhood illnesses and improving MIYCN; diets, services and care practices in Nigeria.

The Chief, Field Office (CFO) represents UNICEF in their Area of Responsibility (AoR), leads and oversees the various program sectors and operational service teams ensuring the delivery of quality results in accordance with UNICEF’s programme of cooperation, country programme management plan and overall vision set forward by the Representative.
You will also provide leadership and overall coordination/supervision of the total programme commitment of the Field Office with a broad range of projects.
This fixed-term position reports directly to the Representative, D1.
