UNICEF Syria is looking for a Social & Behavior Change (SBC) Officer to contribute to the design, management, monitoring and evaluation of evidence-based, inclusive and innovative SBC strategies in support of his/her geographic area of responsibility.
Under overall guidance from the ISU Director, MOSD Assistant Secretary General for Development and governorates Affaires and UNICEF team, the Technical Coordinator contributes to the management, coordination, and reporting functions of the ISU, coordinates the activities of the Unit, and gives direct support to the strategy’s technical committees. The Technical Coordinator will act as a liaison between UNICEF, the ISU Director, the MOSD Assistant Secretary General for Development and governorates Affaires, and committees supporting the implementation of the strategy. S/he will manage the work of the technical team and provide day-to-day support to the overall activities of the ISU.
