The consultant will support UNICEF Programme Group Education and UNICEF Sweden in the development of the UNICEF-Akelius partnership by providing technical assistance in the strategy, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Akelius digital language learning initiative, in collaboration with the Learning Innovation Hub.
As EDU HQ currently does not have sufficient funding to cover all planned activities, the completion of certain deliverables is contingent upon the availability of additional resources.
To achieve FDN’s goals and objectives, UNICEF requires the services of an external consultant to support the development of the Frontier Data Network (FDN) towards internal and external stakeholders.

The position is based in Brasilia, reporting to the UNICEF Deputy Representative, programmes.
The Product Innovation Center (PIC) within Supply Division (SD) works closely with SD procurement centres, UNICEF country offices, HQ programme groups and external partners to identify product needs and then work with industry to fulfil those needs where a new or modified product will improve outcomes for children and caregivers. PIC develops product profiles, influences the industry to accelerate R&D and helps drive demand for scale-up and adoption while addressing issues of access, affordability and value for money of products, ultimately improving the lives of all children. Under the supervision of the Innovation Manager and working closely with the PIC Health team and the Environmental Health team in the Program Group, the Consultant will support the development of the environmental health portfolio of products. The Consultant will work with the Program Group to develop guidance on the use of products and to support countries in including products in programming, and will ensure the availability of appropriate products and guidance through UNICEF Supply and Program Divisions.
A contractor will be engaged by UNICEF Serbia to support the implementation and usage of the new CRM tool (Sales Force) and to perform inhouse activities related to the system, as well as overall donor care and stewardship through meaningful contact and donor solicitation: telemarketing activities, written materials, e-mails and in-person meetings when required. The contractor will conduct telemarketing activities as a pillar for UNICEF’s donor recruitment and donor value maximization activities, and will also assist in administrative tasks.
