It is a core feature of inclusive care and support systems. As part of Selangor‘s latest Care Economy Policy and the Selangor Early Childhood Development Policy and Action Plan, there is a concerted push towards enhancing women‘s labour force participation across Selangor by supporting their care responsibilities while simultaneously improving early childhood development outcomes, including nutrition and childcare access. Efforts to consolidate or improve these existing schemes could help pave the way towards ensuring all mothers and children are able to access support.
