The Social & Economic Policy (SEP) unit at UNICEF Innocenti - Global Office of Research and Foresight is establishing a Roster of Consultants with pre-qualified candidates who can be contracted quickly to provide a range of research services. These may include quantitative or qualitative data collection activities, data analysis (quantitative and/or qualitative), literature reviews, writing research outputs such as reports, briefs or academic articles, amongst others.
Under the general guidance of the South Area Field Office Chief and technical guidance from the SBC Section, and in close coordination with Sectoral and Cross-Sectoral Specialists and Officers, contributes to/responsible for the design, management, monitoring and evaluation of evidence-based, inclusive and innovative SBC strategies in support of the country programme. They will provide leadership in developing detailed workplans and budgets, overseeing programme implementation, ensuring effective coordination of partners and activities, and facilitating regular management and coordination meetings.
UNICEF Ethiopia is looking for three (3) Construction Engineers based in Addis Ababa, Mekelle, and Semera who will be responsible for monitoring all assigned construction activities at the Field offices (School infrastructures, Health Center, and other program and operations-related construction projects) and providing technical support on managing construction and rehabilitation activities. The incumbents will also provide back-up support to other field offices.
The programme manager is based in the West Area (El Geneina, and report to the Chief of Field Office for West Area (P5).
To support efficient and effective coordination, UNICEF and WFP has an established Project Management Unit. The programme manager will seat in the PMU.
