UNICEF Thailand Country Office is seeking a qualified professional to support the following assignments: (1) To provide technical support and quality assurance for the Pilot, including the systematic documentation of lessons learned and their comparison with relevant international evidence. (2) Develop an evidence-based policy brief that draws on data and lessons from the Equity-Based Budgeting Pilot to: (i) present costed option(s) for scaling a revised funding formula to small schools; and (ii) offer broader strategic recommendations on the overall adequacy and effectiveness of school-based financing (beyond small schools) on educational equity in Thailand.
Under the supervision of the Chief of Child Protection, the Consultant will provide support to the Child Protection programme in the UNICEF Sri Lanka Country Office to strengthen the child rights monitoring bodies in Sri Lanka. The consultant will work with the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka – Child Rights Unit (HRCSL) and the National Child Protection Authority (NCPA) – two entities with child rights monitoring functions. UNICEF Jamaica is seeking an experienced international consultant with a solid background in child protection and case management systems to conduct a comprehensive Case Management Quality review and analysis of the Jamaica Child Protection system using the global Quality Assurance Methodology and Framework (QAF).
Under the supervision of the Contracts Manager (P4), the Contracts Associate (GS6) is responsible for assistance and support to the Contracting Unit within Supply Section, ensuring full compliance of procurement activities for Institutional Contractors within the applicable UNICEF rules, regulations, policies and strategies, in the management of contracting of services requirements with access to VISION. The contracts Associate (GS6) provides effective services to the program/requisitioning sections, ensuring accurate and timely processing of purchase requisitions and requests up to the completion and closure of the contract/order, with the overall goal of meeting the needs and requirements of the customers.

for environmental scanning, knowledge exchange, resource mobilization, and policy influence within the scope of
assignment. S/He may also serve as focal point and resource for colleagues on specific thematic areas of strategic
relevance for partnership development. The key result is to ensure greater visibility for UNICEF and influence in support
of its mission and humanitarian action for children in the State of Palestine.
