The incumbent is accountable for expanding partnerships and building strategic alliances. In addition, the Partnership Specialist provides support for the leads the creative planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of an integrated communication strategy. This includes managing and coordinating media relations and communication initiatives to ensure alignment with national priorities and UNICEF’s as well as youth engagement portfolio.
The main objective of the consultancy is to provide technical assistance to UNICEF Country Office in scaling up results in the area of meaningful youth engagement as agents of change in climate agenda through the expansion of the Young Climate Champions network, community-based youth climate actions, especially in Karakalpakstan, and advocacy at national and international levels.
To bring unique external expertise in supporting current initiatives by the Ethics Office, and through specialized skills and knowledge, provide programmatic support, including in coordinating and supporting the increasing number of ethics volunteer corps, ‘Ethics and Culture Champions Programme (ECCs)’ (around 500), delivering training, outreach and communications to UNICEF staff and other special and ad hoc assignments from Ethics leadership.
The consultant will conceptualize and deliver a cohesive visual identity, including logo design, color palette development, and supporting brand elements that reflect UNICEF’s values while maintaining a distinct academic and strategic tone. In collaboration with the PG Director’s Office, the consultant will also support layout and design of key publication series.
