Under the supervision of the Health Specialist – Disability, NCDs, and Injuries, the consultant will provide technical and strategic support to UNICEF’s global child injury prevention work. The consultant will focus on finalizing core knowledge products, including guidance on safe and sustainable mobility, a data and indicator framework, and a roadmap for child injury prevention. In addition, the consultant will support donor reporting for existing partnerships (Abertis and RNLI) and contribute to the preparation of proposals for Phase 2 funding with Michelin and FIA Foundation to sustain and expand the programmatic response.

The expert will work in close collaboration with the UNICEF SBC Officer to develop tailored, engaging, and practical training packages that meet the learning needs of adult professionals distinct from traditional pedagogical approaches used in university settings.
The selected expert will apply a modern andragogical approach centered on interactivity, relevance, and clarity, ensuring that training materials are tailored to the needs of adult professionals, practice-oriented and designed to effectively deliver key SBC concepts, tools and approaches.
