UNICEF Moldova is seeking to contract a National Individual Consultant, to provide supervision and strategic support for the implementation of communication efforts aimed at preventing Violence Against Children (VAC) and Violence Against Women (VAW) of the National Agency for the Prevention and Combating of Violence against Women and Domestic Violence. UNICEF Ethiopia is looking for a health consultant who will support the implementation of the Adolescent-Friendly Health Services (AFHS), Gender-Based Violence (GBV), and Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) activities. The Consultant will supports the health section and field offices in providing technical leadership to coordinate the Adolescent, Youth Friendly Health Service, Gender Based Violence Support and Mental Health and Psychosocial Service under the EU funded project titled “Building Capacities and Restoring Essential Health Services (CARE4Health) in the conflict affected areas in Ethiopia”
The purpose of this assignment is to assess the alternative care landscape in Rwanda and using the evidence generated from this assessment to develop comprehensive and actionable guidelines covering all forms of alternative care in Rwanda. As a result, this assignment will be carried out in two phases. The first phase is to assess the current alternative care system in Rwanda. The second phase, based on the findings of the first phase, is to develop comprehensive Guidelines on Alternative Care in Rwanda. The first phase will involve a national data collection exercise that will be led by a Rwandan National, working closely with the international consultant, to ensure data confidentiality as per the Government’s data protocol.
