Join our team and use your experience to make a difference. In this dynamic role, you will be at the heart of our programme operations—managing partnerships, analyzing data for impact, and overseeing grants. Your skills will drive efficiency and support our mission, all within a collaborative environment that values agility and knowledge sharing. If you are a proactive professional ready to contribute to meaningful work for children, we encourage you to apply.
The purpose of this consultancy is to develop a comprehensive 2026–2030 Action Plan for the UNICEF China Country Office to implement the global Disability Inclusion Policy and Strategy (DIPAS). The plan must align with the global vision of creating a barrier-free and inclusive world by 2030, the UNICEF China Country Programme Document (CPD) 2026–2030, and the EAP Regional Initial Action Plan.
The consultant will build upon the achievements and lessons learned from the previous UNICEF China CO’s DIP Strategic Plan 2023–2025, focusing on a twin-track approach (mainstreaming and targeted actions) to advance the rights of children with disabilities in China.
Under the supervision and guidance of the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCoS), the Administrative Assistant supports a wide range of routine administrative and transactional tasks, along with certain specialized responsibilities across sections within OED. The role requires a solid understanding of UNICEF administrative procedures, processes, and policies.
The Global MHPSS Leadership Team requires a consultant to support the generation, communication, and use of mental health data and evidence at community, national, and global levels to guide decision-making. The consultant will support the development of operational models, guidance, and tools; facilitate stakeholder consultations; and document country experiences, case studies, and lessons learned to strengthen child and adolescent mental health (CAMH) systems. The consultancy is of a temporary, output-based nature, with deliverables tied to discrete workplan activities across a 12-month period.
UNICEF seeks to engage an individual consultant to (1) develop a series of advocacy briefs on tackling child labour and related child rights issues through responsible business conduct, grounded in gaps and needs in existing approaches; and (2) identify and deliver strategic opportunities to position and disseminate these briefs to key stakeholder groups, including governments, private sector actors, industry platforms, and multi-stakeholder initiatives across high-risk sectors, remote basis/no travel for 5 months.
