UNICEF Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia (ECARO) is looking for a qualified Senior Climate Finance Consultant for the Western Balkans Countries to support the Western Balkan Countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo [UN SC resolution 1244], Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia) in development of climate finance concept ideas across thematic areas in relation to UNICEF priority sectors (education, health, WASH, social protection).
UNICEF Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia (ECARO) is looking for a qualified Senior Climate Finance Consultant to support the UNICEF Europe and Central Asia Regional Office (ECARO) in development of climate finance concept ideas across thematic areas in relation to UNICEF priority sectors (education, health, WASH, social protection).
While operational, several minor but essential improvements are needed to enhance functionality, safety, user comfort, and overall performance. These improvements are bundled into six (6) LOTs of works, labelled A through F, to address these improvements across various locations of the facility.
The project has several running Legacy contracts that need to be monitored. These including:
a. Construction of the Building, that has now entered into the Defects Liability Period, [by CEMENTERS Uganda Limited] that runs upto 31st Jan 2026
b. Monitoring of the Defects Liability Period, [ARMSTRONG] that runs upto 31st Jan 2026
c. Certification of the Building as a Green Building [GBCSA] that runs upto 31st October 2025
d. Audit of the Building as a Green Building [Inside Out Inc] that runs upto 31st October 2025
The project has several new contracts and engagements that need to be monitored. These including:
a. Closure of the Final Account [FBW]
b. Structural Integrity Investigations [BUREAU VERITAS]
The proposed study aims to deepen understanding of drivers, rates, reasons, and trends of learner attrition in primary and secondary schools in Uganda.
Previous research efforts have not sufficiently disaggregated findings by gender, region, or vulnerability. This study seeks to generate timely, actionable insights that support evidence-based, inclusive policy reform.
UNICEF Indonesia is recruiting a national consultant to support the organization in actively engaging and mobilising networks including youth-led organisations, universities and other academic institutions, to reach more young people to access and learn by utilizing the Fundoo platform. The assignment is for 3 months, from September - November 2025.
