Join as a National Consultant to be part of UNICEF support to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor (MoSAL) to support technical work on measuring, analysing, and integrating child-specific poverty indicators into the national strategy. This consultancy will help ensure that national strategies are grounded in evidence, equity-focused, and implementable, while also advise on building MoSAL’s institutional capacity for long-term ownership.

Main objective of this consultancy is to develop a comprehensive national Breast Milk Substitutes Code compliance monitoring toolkit/manual for the revised Egyptian Code in alignment with the global standards. Also to develop a comprehensive training package about the revised Egyptian Code and monitoring tools and protocols, for health workers, academia and Code monitors, and deliver two rounds of training. As well as conducting awareness sessions on the revised Code among health workers, academia, relevant government officials, retailers and the BMS industry to inform them of their obligations in upholding the Code.
