UNICEF Sudan is seeking a Security Officer at the NO-A level to provide technical, operational, and administrative support in the area of security management. The role involves applying theoretical and technical skills to research, collect, analyze, and present security-related data and information, while gaining exposure to UNICEF and UN system procedures in security management and emergency/crisis preparedness.
The purpose of this national consultancy is to provide technical and coordination support to the MoES and other national stakeholders in advancing the national learning assessment agenda, with a particular focus on school-level competency-based summative assessment reform. This support will directly contribute to strengthening assessment systems in alignment with competency-based education (CBE) principles, as defined by national policy and the IsDB/GPE Phase II project.
Under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager undertakes administrative management support services in the country office and outpost offices, the incumbent assists in ensuring efficient and cost-effective administrative support services, providing guidance to outsourced support staff. Provides guidance and supervision to the Senior Driver and Driver under the Administration/Operations section. Ensures the office’s administrative operations and services are in compliance with the organization's administrative policy, procedures, rules and regulations
The Social Policy team contributes to UNICEF’s strategic results on the reduction of child poverty, social protection and public finance. Its main aim is to support country offices. This post will support specific Goal Area 5 Strategic Plan results to improve access to inclusive social protection systems and reduction of child poverty through increasing coverage and financing of social protection systems for children.
Under the close supervision and guidance of the Human Resources Officer/Specialist/Manager/Chief, the Human Resources Associate provides administrative, procedural and operational support and assistance to the efficient implementation of a broad range of Human Resources functions for all categories of staff in his/her office, ensuring accurate and timely delivery that is in compliance with UNICEF HR rules and regulations.
