The Innovation Specialist (P3 TA) – Connect operates under the strategic direction of the Innovation Manager (Design and Connect), and is responsible for providing project oversight, coordination, and quality assurance for UNICEF’s SPARK and COMPASS initiatives within the Office of Innovation. The Legal Affairs Specialist will give recommendations and advice on a wide range of administrative law matters, including disciplinary cases and staff appeals to the UNDT. The Administrative Law Unit aims to mitigate exposure to potential liability and financial loss during the appeals process, while helping to preserve credibility with member states and donors. The incumbent’s support helps UNICEF to hold staff members accountable for misconduct, thus safeguarding the organization, while ensuring that the organization is appropriately represented during the formal legal process.
