TThe assignment seeks to provide a comprehensive comparative analysis to inform the Special Report on citizens’ rights to safe and clean drinking water, with a focus on drinking water and sanitation (WASH) services. The key objective is to support Ukraine’s efforts to improve water supply and hygiene services by aligning its legislation with best practices in Germany and Poland. The report also aims to strengthen Ukraine’s legislative response to ensuring the safety, quality, and accessibility of drinking water, with a focus on areas affected by conflict.
UNICEF Uzbekistan recognizes the urgent need to address this issue and plans to conduct Training-of-Trainers (ToTs) sessions for national medical staff. These trainings will focus on neonatal resuscitation and/or respiratory support, targeting the management of premature and low-birth-weight infants, who are at higher risk of complications. To ensure the highest quality of instruction, UNICEF aims to engage international consultants with expertise in neonatal resuscitation and respiratory support.
The selected consultant will conduct ToTs on neonatal resuscitation and/or respiratory support. Consultants will have been pre-screened based on their expertise, experience, and qualifications.
This consultancy aims to review existing policy and programmatic frameworks and gains focusing on enabling environments to foster a healthy, well-compensated and content female health workforce as well as gender-responsive services and provisions. The study will identify best practices and promising models for gender-responsive policies, guidelines and frameworks in the nexus of workplaces and healthcare facilities.
