Under the supervision of the People & Culture Manager, this People and Culture Officer executes HR services and manages assigned HR areas through applying knowledge of HR, sound experience, and proficient understanding of organizational HR policies and procedures.
The purpose of this consultancy is to support the UNICEF Central African Republic Country Office in the preparation of a submission to the Committee on the Rights of the Child (CRC) pre-sessional working group, ahead of the review of the State Party report submitted by the Government of the Central African Republic.
The submission will provide the Committee with independent, evidence-based information on the situation of children’s rights in the Central African Republic, highlighting progress achieved, key challenges and priority issues requiring attention.
The assignment will contribute to strengthening the quality of the dialogue between the Committee and the State Party by identifying critical gaps, emerging issues and priority areas for action in the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Particular attention will be given to children affected by conflict, displacement, violence, poverty and limited access to essential services, which remain central features of the national context.
The submission will also support the Committee in identifying key questions and recommendations to guide the dialogue with the Government of the Central African Republic and inform future concluding observations.
