The Social Policy Officer (Cash Transfers) will support the design, implementation, and monitoring of the various cash transfer programmes implemented by UNICEF Ukraine, including multi-purpose cash assistance (MPCA), cash-for-winterization assistance, and complementary social protection programming in form of ‘top-ups’. It is also assumed that this position will act as the Deputy Lead/Head of the HCT team (when needed). The Social Policy Officer (Cash Transfers) will be an integral part of the Humanitarian Cash Transfer (HCT) team and will positively contribute to the provision of much-needed cash assistance to vulnerable households with children in need of basic assistance, seasonal and complementary sectoral cash support.

Under the guidance of the Chief Field Operations, the Chief Field Office (CFO) is accountable for managing and leading the total programme commitment of a field office within a country programme. The CFO represents UNICEF in his/her Area of Responsibility (AoR), leads and oversees the various program sectors and operational service teams ensuring the delivery of quality results in accordance with UNICEF’s programme of cooperation, country programme management plan and overall vision set forward by the Representative.
UNICEF Mozambique is looking for an experienced professional in Child Protection Specialist (child rights monitoring) will be based in Cabo Delgado. Under the overall guidance of the Chief of Field Office and the Chief of Child Protection, and under the direct supervision of the Child Protection Manager, and within the context of supporting the implementation of the UNICEF Strategic Plan, UNICEF Child Protection Strategy , the Child Protection Specialist provides leadership on the Mozambique CO Child Rights Monitoring Technical Working group and all other activities required.
The Officer provides support to the supervisor and colleagues in the unit by executing HR services through applying knowledge of theoretical HR models, as well as understanding of organizational HR policies and procedures, specifically this role will support the five field offices with all related key HR interventions. It may imply travel in the fields.
