Join UNICEF Ukraine as a Digital Impact Associate (formerly known as ICT Associate) and help enable critical humanitarian and development programmes through reliable digital services, ICT infrastructure, connectivity, systems administration, and end-user support. Based in Kharkiv, you will support UNICEF staff by ensuring access to secure technology solutions, efficient ICT services, and emergency telecommunications systems that enable the delivery of results for children.
Join UNICEF’s Generation Unlimited (GenU) team and help shape the future of digital livelihoods for young people around the world. As the Innovation Specialist, Youth Agency Marketplace (YOMA), you will lead the coordination, technical management and partnership delivery of YOMA, GenU’s global digital platform connecting young people to learning, employment, entrepreneurship and social impact opportunities. Working with governments, private sector partners, technology providers, donors, UNICEF Country Offices and youth-serving organizations, you will drive the implementation of YOMA’s technology roadmap, strengthen Youth Digital Identity (YoID) integration, advance YOMA’s transition as a Digital Public Good, and support country adoption across a growing global ecosystem.
The purpose of the consultancy is to strengthen UNICEF Ethiopia’s institutional knowledge management for disability inclusion by consolidating existing strategic, policy, technical, training and programme materials into an accessible, user-friendly internal library, while also producing two targeted practical products:
1. an assistive technology roadmap for livelihood interventions under the Mastercard Foundation-supported programme; and
2. an onboarding package for future specialist-level and above recruits who require a structured introduction to disability inclusion in UNICEF Ethiopia.
The Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED) under Ministry of Planning supports the effective implementation of the Annual Development Programme (ADP) and contributes to Bangladesh’s broader development vision. The Perspective Plan, Five-Year Plans and ADP have placed special emphasis on IMED’s role, with increasing attention to introducing results-based management norms and procedures to promote more accountable and effective implementation of ADP projects. It is against this backdrop that UNICEF is supporting IMED to develop its Monitoring and Evaluation Framework, Act and Rules to ensure effective investment and socio-economic development through monitoring and evaluation of development projects, transparency and efficiency. This initiative will strengthen results-based management, align national systems and ensure systematic generation and use of evidence in planning, budgeting, and policy decisions. UNICEF therefore is calling for applications for an international consultant to lead the assignment. The consultant will work hand in hand with a national consultant to carry out the assignment.
