Under the general guidance and supervision of the Chief, DSU, the incumbent is primarily responsible for the management of Regular Resource Budget allocations and Discretionary funds such as 7% Set Aside, EPF, Thematic, etc.
We are looking for an ICT Specialist to manage the overall architecture and operational support of UNICEF global Hybrid Directory Services, including both Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) as well as On-Prem Microsoft Windows Active Directory Domain Services. Amongst other tasks, the ICT Specialist will conduct routine health checks, administer Hybrid Identity systems function, and monitor integrity and performance of the Hybrid System elements. They will also supervise a team of 4 staff members.
UNICEF is looking for a consultant to undertake following three deliverables:
1. Conduct a mapping of Early Childhood Development (ECD) policies, programmes and interventions in
the Middle East and North Africa countries with a specific focus on early years.
2. Develop a regional ECD roadmap to define the MENA ECD narrative and operationalize the UNICFE’s global
vision on ECD.
3. Build tools and capacities of the ECD country offices focal points UNICEF’s MENA ECD narrative through remote
support and a face-to-face training.
This assignment will primarily focus on understanding the programming landscape and defining the narrative and
roadmap for ECD during early years through the lens of gender and disability. It will also provide updates to the
existing parenting landscape.
The consultant will play a pivotal role in the successful planning, coordination, implementation and monitoring of the learning assessments related activities of UNICEF Tajikistan Country Office. This consultancy requires a blend of technical expertise related to learning assessments, coordination skills, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships. The consultant will serve as a crucial link between the UNICEF Regional and Country Offices including relevant international and national experts, local education authorities, specialized assessment units, development partners and other relevant stakeholders.
