You will contribute to the promotion of children’s rights in Peru by providing professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for Early Childhood Development (ECD) within the health sector, with an integrated focus on nutrition in early childhood, including growth monitoring, anemia prevention, breastfeeding, complementary feeding, and early identification of malnutrition.
The objective of this roving position is to systematically improve the capacity of the Sub-national WASH Cluster along its 6+1 cluster core functions – as per the IASC Reference Module for Cluster Coordination. By the end of the assignment, the Sub-national WASH Cluster will be increasingly sustainable and fully reliant on national capacity within UNICEF and relevant national governmental and non-governmental counterparts.
