The Legal Affairs Specialist will give recommendations and advice on a wide range of organizational activities and interests, and concern, among other things, the interaction of UNICEF with governments and other key partners as well as on strategic initiatives across UNICEF. Under the guidance and supervision of the Regional Emergency Specialist (P4), establishes and implements emergency preparedness and response activities across the 24 Country Offices in West and Central Africa Region including through regular travel (50-75% outside of Dakar) and deployments to Country and Field Offices. You will also take the lead in some technical workstreams in people and culture management in the region.
