UNICEF Uzbekistan is seeking a qualified National Consultant to support the program’s implementation across perinatal centers. The consultant will be working under the guidance of the Chief of Health and Development and direct supervision of the Health Specialist.
As part of the Vision 2030 initiative, the consultant will support UNICEF in data collection, aggregation, and analysis of key neonatal resuscitation indicators, ensuring that each perinatal center is progressing toward impactful, measurable outcomes in neonatal and maternal care.
A Resource Mobilization and Partnerships Chief with substantial experience in countries in transition is needed. The RMPU Chief should be able to interact with donors at a strategic level and in a delicate manner to bring the challenges mentioned above to their attention, and ensure supporting children remains a high priority area for donors. The RMPU Chief needs to have the experience and stature to be able to interact and advocate with donors at the highest levels, including their Chief of Missions in Bangladesh. The aim of the interaction is not only to secure resources for Bangladesh’s regular programme, but also for its humanitarian interventions, be it due to national emergencies or supporting the Rohingya population residing in Bangladesh.

The assignment's mission is to support delegated project management in the field, in collaboration with the regional teams of ANFICT and FAFPA and regional technical assistance units, with quarterly reports on activity implementation, delivery of expected outputs, and overall progress toward approved annual programs.
This role (4 positions available) will be regionally based and jointly managed by the Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Specialist of the Management Unit and the Head of the Area Office. The role aligns with the geographic coverage of regional technical assistants and ANFICT regional offices, with close collaboration required with the regional Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist.
