Afghanistan country office is seeking an experienced Senior Emergency Specialist responsible for the implementation and management of regional initiatives, strategies and activities in the assigned sector (e.g., Health, Nutrition, Child Protection, WASH) within the context of Emergency programme, with particular emphasis on the cluster approach and the cluster leadership for the assigned sector.
Bajo la supervisión directa del Project Officer LdCI de UNICEF Venezuela y orientaciones técnicas del Chief Planning Monitoring & Evaluation de UNICEF Venezuela, el Asociado de comunicaciones y manejo de información de la Línea de Contacto es responsable de apoyar en la coordinación del mecanismo en la creación de materiales de comunicación basados en la recopilación, el análisis y el intercambio de información con las comunidades, como medio de fortalecimiento de la Rendición de Cuentas a las Comunidades y Poblaciones Afectadas, ampliando el alcance de la acción con una visión centrada en las personas y sus necesidades
Under the guidance of the Chief Field Operations, the Chief Field Office (CFO) is accountable for managing and leading the total programme commitment of a field office within a country programme. The CFO represents UNICEF in his/her Area of Responsibility (AoR), leads and oversees the various program sectors and operational service teams ensuring the delivery of quality results in accordance with UNICEF’s programme of cooperation, country programme management plan and overall vision set forward by the Representative.
The Officer provides support to the supervisor and colleagues in the unit by executing HR services through applying knowledge of theoretical HR models, as well as understanding of organizational HR policies and procedures, specifically this role will support the five field offices with all related key HR interventions. It may imply travel in the fields.
