The purpose of this assignment to review and gather lessons learned from countries who have experience in operationalizing these interventions and to document those operational learnings in the form of practical recommendations in order to support future implementation and roll out of recent programmatic shifts related to the new WHO Guideline recommendations.
This review should explore boosters and challenges in the implementation of these interventions and will draw similarities, strengths across contexts in order to provide practical solutions and recommendations on how these interventions can be taken to scale once adapted to the latest WHO Evidence-based recommendations. These recommendations/solutions should focus on the short, medium and long term and should span across different programmatic aspects and levels of the national health system.

This role will provide strategic oversight and hands-on management of both seed-stage and follow-on investments, ensuring maximum impact and return on investment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping portfolio strategy, supporting high-potential startups, and optimizing the Fund’s investment approach.
Under the direct supervision of the chief of health/Supply or their designate, and in close coordination with the HQ and regional immunization supply chain (iSC) teams, the Vaccine Management Specialist (VMS) will work with the NLWGs/EPIs/MOPH and their sub-national counterparts
The Health Manager (MNCAH/HIV and HSS) reports for health sector-specific guidance to the Chief of Health. The Manager supports the Chief in managing the MNCAH/HIV and HSS units. As the successful candidate, you will lead the knowledge management/innovation and developing/preparing programs/projects on maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health, including PMTCT/HIV/AIDS prevention and care. The Health Manager also provides authoritative technical guidance and management support throughout the programming processes to facilitate the administration and achievement of concrete and sustainable results of MNCAH/HIV and HSS programs/projects according to plans allocation, results management approaches and methodology (RBM), and UNICEF's Strategic Plans, standards of performance and accountability framework.
