The consultant will help implementing the regional programme aiming at strengthening national capacity for improving the use of robust learning and skills assessment data for improving learning and skills outcomes. The consultant will support UNICEF’s objectives on 1) accelerating foundational learning (i.e. basic literacy and numeracy and socio-emotional skills) through upscaling the use of best practices, starting from early childhood and including digital learning solutions; 2) strengthening education and skills systems, policies, and practices; and 3) Increasing the production and use of regional and global knowledge on the best practices for improving learning and skills outcomes.

UNICEF Jamaica is seeking an experienced individual with a solid background in software development, to develop a software solution that automates the Benefit Level Calculator, enabling the Ministry of Labour and Social Security (MLSS) to more efficiently assess and determine appropriate cash transfer values for households affected by sudden, co-variate shocks.
A TA Multi-Country (MC) Evaluation Specialist post, located in the MENA Regional Office, will temporarily provide oversight, support, guidance and technical assistance to the small and medium-size MENA Country Offices, on evaluation conduct and on the evaluation function. Additionally, the TA MC Evaluation Specialist post will contribute to the coordination of evaluation in the MENA region and will manage evaluations commissioned by the MENA Regional Office. A major part of the regional evaluations is the preparation and management of Country Programme Evaluations.
