UNICEF seeks to hire an experienced, results oriented national Individual consultant to assist UNICEF Lesotho Country Office with the review and update of the existing CPD framework and logbook, which are due for review after five years. This review will be informed by the 2022 CPD evaluation survey findings. The consultant will draft a revised CPD framework to ensure it aligns with emerging trends and meets the professional development needs of healthcare workers in Lesotho including Learning hub, online and offline learning and simulation centers. UNICEF Pacific seeks to contract three evaluators/consultants with appropriate skills, expertise and capacities, to work as a team to conduct a formative evaluation of climate and disaster-resilient WASH programming in the Pacific Island countries. The evaluation will assess the extent to which the UNICEF WASH climate and disaster-resilient programming approach is set up to deliver sustainable and climate and disaster-resilient quality water and sanitation services, and to ensure that children and their families have the knowledge, skills and resources to practice safe WASH. It will also determine whether UNICEF programme activities are positioned to advance the goal for every child to have access to water, sanitation and hygiene and live in a safe and sustainable climate and environment, and to attain UNICEF vision towards realization of the human rights to water and sanitation.
The consultancy is for 150 working days divided between the 4 consultants and spread over a 5-month period. Contracts will be issued on an individual basis.
