UNICEF Refugee Response Office (RRO) in Poland opens this vacancy for a short-term, deliverable-based, remote consultancy assignment with possible travels within Poland. As part of the UNICEF RRO in Poland programme on child protection, this consultant will develop and deliver a capacity building and training programme to representatives of municipalities and NGO from 6 Spilno Hubs on designing, planning and implementing effective interventions for social inclusion and integration of refugee children and their families with the local community and for social cohesion. This consultancy assignment is remote-based for 29 days between June and November 2025.
The Child Protection Officer (Child Online Protection and Digital Rights) will provide technical
and operational assistance for the development, implementation, monitoring, evaluating and
reporting for the child online protection and digital rights programme.
To conduct and/or occasionally lead audits and advisory assignments in accordance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and OIAI policies and procedures, as part of the approved OIAI work plan. The Internal Audit Specialist's work is crucial to strengthening UNICEF’s governance, risk management and control processes, and hence to the economic, efficient and effective delivery of results for children.NOTE: Frequent and extended travel is required to UNICEF locations (approximately 4 months per year), often in difficult duty stations, outside of the duty station of the post.

The purpose of this position is to support the HCT team in developing the technical documentation required throughout the enhancements and maintenance of UNICEF Humanitarian cash Operations and Programme Ecosystem (HOPE) and to liaise with relevant stakeholders, internal and external. The technical documentation function entails the drafting of functional and business requirements, user stories and visualization of business and process flow to support the architectural and functional enhancements of HOPE. This function plays a critical role in ensuring adequate quality assurance and user acceptance tests are performed prior to clear the deployment to production of new features and bug fixes.
