Household surveys such as the Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS) and Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) enable countries to produce statistically sound and internationally comparable estimates of a range of indicators on the situation of children and women in areas such as health, education, early childhood development, child protection, water and sanitation, and nutrition. 1. To conduct a comprehensive landscape analysis of child overweight and obesity prevention in Cambodia. The global protocol and guidance should be used and adapted to the Cambodia context. Data on women will be included as maternal nutritional status is strongly associated with child nutritional status and birth outcomes.
2. To organise and convene stakeholder consultations, including with youth, to develop consensus on a set of priority policies and actions to effectively prevent child overweight and obesity in Cambodia.
