Taking in consideration that a majority UNICEF documents and internal communication, both via email and verbally,
are made using the English language, the UNICEF Bissau Country office would like to ensure the availability of a
qualified English Language teacher for staff members to improve their English skills, in order to facilitate
communication and improve the quality of documents produced.
Under the direct supervision of the Deputy Representative (Operations), the incumbent undertakes administrative management support services in a country office. The incumbent assists in ensuring efficient and cost-effective administrative support services, providing guidance to administrative staff as well as supporting staff in Conakry Office administrative assignments. The incumbent ensures that the office’s administrative operations and services are in compliance with the organization's administrative policies, procedures, rules and regulations.

This individual will work as a national consultant to provide technical support to the UNICEF Ghana Child Protection (CP) in implementing the Integrated Social Services (ISS) approach and the Social Welfare Information Management System (SWIMS) at the sub-national level. Particularly, the consultant will support ISS and SWIMS data collection, analysis, management, reporting, and visualization for improved evidence-based policies and programmes for child protection.
The consultant will work closely with the Government of Ghana ISS technical working group (mainly the Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection; the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs; the Office of the Head of Local Government Service; and the National Development Planning Commission), as well as the UNICEF HQ and Regional Office Primero teams.

Under the supervision of the Nutrition Manager from the Health and Nutrition Section, the consultant will provide technical support to DBE in enhancing learners’ knowledge, skills, and advocacy capacity through participatory, curriculum-linked nutrition education, enabling them to critically engage with their own dietary behavior and that of their peers. Furthermore, the consultant will develop toolkits for the NUSA initiative to empower learners to advocate for healthier school food environments by engaging with School Governing Bodies, School Management Teams, and food vendors to promote and enforce policies that ensure the availability and affordability of nutritious options in and around schools.
