UNICEF is piloting the use of stablecoins as a new modality for cash-based assistance in humanitarian settings. To support this effort, a consultant is required to develop and update programmatic tools for two pilot contexts and provide technical guidance to country offices on program design and operational considerations. The role will help translate emerging blockchain and digital asset approaches into practical, field-ready processes. The consultant will work under the Global Cash Hub, in close collaboration with relevant COs, DFAM, and the Office of Innovation.
This position will contribute to the wider objective of strengthening data management and data use at country level as well as building capacity of national governments/immunization programmes to forecast demand and optimize supply chain processes as outlined above.
