UNICEF Pacific is hiring a Social and Behavior Change (SBC) Officer at the NOB level on fixed term appointment to be based in Honiara, Solomons Islands. Under the general supervision of the Social and Behavior Change Specialist, Solomon Islands will be required to provide technical and operational support and is responsible communication, advocacy and social and behavior change activities.
Under the supervision and guidance of the Chief of section, the programme associate works in close collaboration with a range of staff in the Country Office, external partners and other UN agencies in support of programme design and delivery. the end to end supply function of a wide range of product group for a medium sized UNICEF country office. The supply chain operations include planning, procurement, contracting in close coordination with programme sections and Logistics team ensuring timely customs clearance, warehousing, in-country transport, and distribution, using methodical approach to monitoring of supplies and service ensuring timely delivery of quality product and service.
