The Child Protection Officer provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for child protection programmes/projects within the Country Programme from development planning to delivery of results. H/She prepares, executes, manages, and implements a variety of technical and administrative programme tasks to facilitate programme development, implementation, programme progress monitoring, evaluating and reporting.
Under the general guidance of the supervisor, the Social Policy Specialist is responsible for supporting the programme management, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of all stages of social policy programming and related advocacy, from strategic planning and formulation to the delivery of concrete and sustainable results. This includes leading the development and implementation of a project management approach for the Social Recovery Office and ensuring team members are effectively utilizing associated tools and methodologies.
