The United Nations Children’s Fund in Cambodia is looking for an International Editor for CO End-Year Summary Narrative EYSN and CO Snapshot of UNICEF’s Work for Cambodia Children 2024-2025. In the context of migration and asylum, Italy continues to be a frontline country for arrivals both by sea from the Central Mediterranean route and by land from the Western Balkan route and Ukraine. The country is considered both a destination and a transit country for all those migrants and refugees who are trying to reach Northern European countries. Refugees and migrants, and in particular children and women travelling alone, continue to undertake dangerous journeys to reach Europe, facing specific protection risks, including GBV ones.
Immunization (EPI) Specialist is accountable for professional leadership in and contribution to the development, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation and administration of the immunization programme in conjunction with Child Survival and Development, Maternal and Child Health, Health and Nutrition components within the country programme, to achieve the UNICEF's immunization plus goals and objectives for the country.
Accountable for ensuring the UNICEF Immunization programme promotes gender equality, with an emphasis on gender disaggregation, gender disparity identification and gender mainstreaming.
UNICEF is looking for a consultant to undertake following three deliverables:
1. Conduct a mapping of Early Childhood Development (ECD) policies, programmes and interventions in
the Middle East and North Africa countries with a specific focus on early years.
2. Develop a regional ECD roadmap to define the MENA ECD narrative and operationalize the UNICFE’s global
vision on ECD.
3. Build tools and capacities of the ECD country offices focal points UNICEF’s MENA ECD narrative through remote
support and a face-to-face training.
This assignment will primarily focus on understanding the programming landscape and defining the narrative and
roadmap for ECD during early years through the lens of gender and disability. It will also provide updates to the
existing parenting landscape.
