UNICEF Romania invites qualified candidates to express their interest to be included in the ROSTER OF SPECIALIZED CONSULTANTS FOR THE CHILD PROTECTION SECTION. They might be contracted to provide support to UNICEF in delivering specific products in relation to evidence generation (data collection, research, etc.); policy and legal analyses; policy advocacy; policy and programme planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation; technical assistance and capacity building; public finance management for social services; knowledge management; management information system design and use, etc. to support child protection programmes in Romania.
UNICEF is about to implement a one-year project, denominated “Support to 200 PHCs, for which an adequate number of 8 consultant engineers are requested in the field, to back the staff of the field offices. The locations which this project will be implemented are Enugu, Kano, Kaduna, Bauchi, Sokoto, Lagos (Covering River) and Maiduguri.
We are seeking an action-oriented individual with high-level communication, coordination and deliver transactional services remotely from Budapest, ensuring responsiveness and avoiding additional cost and risk to UNICEF and its staff. This function would be extended to support smaller offices on an ongoing basis to provide transactional support that may not be affordable or available locally.
