UNICEF is seeking an experienced national Civil Engineer Consultant with expertise in hospital rehabilitation. The consultant will play a key role in providing technical assistance and monitoring the progress of infrastructure improvements across the 227 perinatal centres. Additionally, the consultant will serve as a liaison for an international English-speaking Technical Supervision Consultant, who has been recruited to oversee construction and repair efforts both remotely and on-site.
Under the direct supervision of the Country Coordinator, the Consultant will provide support to the UNICEF National Response in Italy in information management to harmonize data collection and analysis and in administration to improve the office’s communication.
Positioned within the Systems, Analytics, Partnerships Risk Management, Planning and Operations team (SARPO) of PPD and under the supervision of the Risk Manager, the Senior Consultant (Contracts and Agreements) will conceptualize and create a searchable and systematized digital database of public sector donor conditions and develop and deliver trainings and capacity-building resources for PPD teams on negotiating public sector agreements. The Senior Consultant (Contracts and Agreements) will further conduct review of PPD compliance with Delegation of Authority and Resource Mobilization policies and make recommendations to improve related processes, as needed.
The Knowledge Management & Country Office Support Consultant will play a pivotal role in driving UNICEF’s innovation strategy and capacity building agenda by capturing, curating, and supporting the adoption and scale up of cutting-edge insights, best practices and lessons learned. This role will develop and manage dynamic knowledge-sharing initiatives to strengthen overall programmatic support to countries as well as foster partnerships with key local and global innovation partners. The Consultant will also identify high-impact funding opportunities, forge strategic partnerships with donors, private sector partners, academic institutions and development agencies, and craft compelling proposals that unlock new investments in innovation.
